📱 Our product:
- We are developing a creator platform for active learning to revolutionize the way we learn and grow tapping into the creator economy

🚀 The position
You will be our first hire specializing in both Back-end development and Machine Learning at Superflow and we are looking for someone who can take the development end to end, starting with being a one person team and then growing the team as we scale to 100M DAUs and beyond across the globe
- Own the full end-to-end Backend development and Machine Learning lifecycle, from designing data models, data exploration to model operationalization and implementation. You will be the owner and need to work closely with different teams to help drive these processes forward.
- Determine which tools and platforms we need to be using to create a world class product to develop reusable, highly differentiating and high-performing active learning creator platform that utilizes unique Machine Learning systems, enable fast model development, low-latency serving and ease of model quality upkeep
- Prototype new approaches and produce solutions at scale for our active users.
- Collaborate with multi-functional teams spanning engineering (specifically front end), design, product management, to support new and current product features that advance our mission to create authentic and meaningful connections with friends.
- Be ready for anything and everything (we are still a scrappy start up) and know how to best support each issue quickly (be it yourself, outside support or relevant experts)
🤝 What you bring
- You have a strong background in both scalable backend development and machine learning theory, and practice
- You have deep backend knowledge (Java or .NET orPython, Terraform, Cloudflare, Node JS preferred) and are able to write efficient and clean code
- You will have owned the full chain of machine learning (from gathering to implementing) at a fast paced consumer focused business - its a plus if you put the processes and tools in place yourself or you have integrated existing AI -NLP models in your tool
- You are experienced with building data pipelines, and build and evaluate your models
- You have an advanced knowledge of statistics, metrics and analytics
- You have experience with cloud platforms (GCP preferred) and in integrating with several 3rd-party vendors (Atlassian, Notion, etc.)
- You have experience with batch processing video files
- You love our users even more than your code and have a product mindset
- You are curious and passionate and want to help our teams transform both the creator and user experience with machine learning
- It is a plus if you have experience with developing LMSs (Learning Management Systems)

⚙️ Hiring process:
The process takes 2 - 3 weeks max -then you either join us, or we get back to you with feedback :)
Technical hirings:
- 30 min - "Non-technical" call with our team - lets get to know each other and get your questions answered
- Technical Test - a take home test you can work on in your own time (usually between 1 - 3hours of your time)
- 60 minute - Technical Test review - chat through your test with the team you would be working with
- 30 minute - “non-technical” interview with Pris (Founder & CEO) and Mark (our Tech Lead) on the position details
