Introducing Superflow: Pioneering Human-centered Growth

With a background in psychology I am the founder and CEO of both Superflow, next-generation training platform and Be-novative, a Design Thinking Process Managment Platform backed by SingularityUniversity and Pioneers.io as shareholders and Microsoft as strategic partner supporting 100+ Fortune1000 companies digitally on creating a culture of innovation and collective creativity. I am Forbes 30under30, won US and EU competitions (Singularity University's first Global Impact Competition in the CEE region in 2012, The Next Web's Innovation Challenge, TechMatch Europe Silicon Valley, Morgan Stanley CTO Summits), wrote several articles about the future of collective intelligence, innovation and education and why collective creativity will contribute to breakthrough products and services, and how it strengthens our self-esteem and drives a happier and higher quality of life. I implemented +500 Open Innovation projects and taught innovation courses across the globe on six continents, and have supported various NGOs, e.g. OECD, United Nations, MozzillaFoundation, WWF, Greenpeace, and EIT to involve thousands of people in designing more inclusive, diverse, and sustainable societies. Unveiling a Human-Centered Approach to Growth and Peak Performance

After all, what is human-centered growth?

Companies that put more emphasis on human-centered growth will attract more people who want to experience the growing value either as a client or as an employee. Eventually, the company will also grow its business purposefully and both clients and employees will feel meaning, balance, satisfaction and personal growth. Our mission is to democratize learning and make it more personalized, active, applicable and effective, so that individuals and organizations can thrive in a rapidly changing world.

Where our story began...

Our journey towards this mission started in 2012, amidst the vibrant discussions at NASA Ames Research Park during the Global Impact Program of SingularityU for future leaders. It was a pivotal moment. Two team members pushed for working smarter, they didn't want to work on our presentation till late in the evening. They argued, it is high time to change the stereotype of the 21st century entrepreneur who has to grind all-day-all-night without truly living. I remember, a decade ago at the dawn of my first startup, I was still on the side that it is all just a utopia, there is not a single entrepreneur who made an impact and did reasonable change while working just 8 hours a day or less. Me and another team mate of mine said we believe in success if we at least put in 10-14 hours a day, grind all day and night and so, get ahead of the competition.

Fast forward 11 years, my conviction has evolved. I now understand that professional and corporate success is about balance, evolved processes and techniques. I witnessed many people burning out - including people in my own team. I learned the hard way that burning the candle on both ends will put a high price to pay for any individual - and that is a different price for everyone. While I personally avoided burnout, now my approach at Superflow, my second startup, is markedly different. These learnings I plan to share with you gradually in our upcoming blog posts.

My conclusions on growth, productivity and wellbeing is that there is one thing in common in successfully growing teams:
